Classic Models:

Dark

These ligatures give a darker, richer tone quality. Although technologically superior, its sound is similar to the sound produced by the age-old string ligature. Assists in producing a full, centered tone.

Light

These ligatures give a brighter more open tone quality. Responsive and free-playing. Affords a full range of musical expression for jazz improvisation.

Mark III

A premium ligature that gives greater weight and tonal substance than either the Light or Dark. Similar to the Dark, but responds with a heftier tone. These are the maximum performance types that yield the best response, clearest, biggest sound, and playability of any ligature available.

Versa

The Versa features a metal cradle and repositionable flaps with inserts that can be configured to produce six different tones. It is not designed to be inverted. The versatility of this ligature provides the performer with complete tonal control and accurate intonation throughout all registers.
