*Selecting the appropriate instrument size is crucial for the development of proper technique, as well as for the comfort of the student.

• Have your child stand up straight facing you.

• Arm Length: Lift the left arm and extend it fully to the side, palm facing up, fingers flat and straight out. Place measuring tape against the side of the neck, and measure from the neck, down the arm to the center of the palm.

FRACTIONAL SIZE STRING INSTRUMENTS ARE RENT-TO-RENT

Understanding Rent-to-Rent:  All fractional size string instruments earn credit toward the ownership of a full size instrument. String contracts do not mature until your child has reached the full size instrument.

As your child grows, you may trade-up your string instrument when they are ready for a larger size at no additional fee during your active rental.

Understanding Earned Credit.

The first 12 months, 100% of your rental fee (minus tax and insurance) is applied to the Earned Credit toward owning your full size instrument. After the first 12 months, 25% of your rental fee (minus tax and insurance) is applied to the Earned Credit.

Early pay-off options are also available on full size string instruments, please contact our office for more information.

**Earned credit only applies to your current contract. It is non-transferable and there is no actual dollar value. Contract termination will result in the forfeit of all earned credit.

*When applicable, state sales tax will be included on instrument rental fee at checkout.

You can return your instrument AT ANY TIME and no additional money will be owed as long as your contract payments are up to date.

*Please note: You must contact Leonards Music to schedule the return of your instrument.

Fire, Theft, and Damage (FTD) Insurance is automatically included in the price ($7.00/month for all violins).

Your school's designated lesson book has been automatically selected below for you and will be delivered with your instrument. (If you do not require the lesson book at this time you must un-check the box.)

*If your student's school offers more than one choice of lesson book you must select your choice below for it to be delivered with your instrument.

Lesson books are a one-time purchase that will be billed against the payment information you have provided along with any additional accessories you select. 

**If you do not select the lesson book at the time you place your rental and later find that you do need it, a separate order must be placed and the book will be mailed directly to your residence. (Shipping rates will apply)

If selected below, the accessory/accessories you have chosen, will be delivered to your child's school with their rental instrument.
